What a fantastic night at the sugar club with the launch of the first Balcony tv music video award ceremony very proffesinal and laid out like the academy awards are in the states, they also put on some free drinks for the bands and had some cool spot prizes for the audience (but i don't think Tom wanted to part with them), The night featured some great new talent like ALANALDA great stuff from this band they done a few songs from there new ep demonstration thumbs up for this band

The next band to enter the stage was RED KID this band rocked they came on the stage with a explosion of sound and very energetic they really got the show going,

Leanne Harte then took to the stage with her placid rock vocals and excellent rhythm gutair playing this artist has a real great style about her,

the next artist was Eleanor McAvoy with a nice intro on violin, great rhythm and vocals had a sweet flavor ringing in my ears with a touch of blues excellent performance from Eleanor

Colm Lynch took to the stage with his strong vocals and very well structured songs, very poetic and strait up from the heart Colm is one of the finer songwriters around

Another solo artist came to the stage his name was Joe Doyle this guy had a great jazzy blues feel with with fantastic gutair playing to back it up and a real good show from Joe,

The next artist took the audience by surprise and me but a special appearance by Paul Brady well what can i say this guy is truly a legend and a gifted songwriter, it was nice to see Paul strut his stuff on the stage showing great support for many of the unsigned acts on the night,

Lauren Guillery and the claws pumped the rock back into the night with Lauren and her hypnotic vocals and punk girl attitude good stuff from Lauren and the claws
